Illinois Misdemeanor Battery Attorney

Class A misdemeanor battery charges are punishable by up to a $2,500 fine and up to 1 year in jail. A person commits the misdemeanor offense of battery if he or she knowingly without legal justification by any means causes bodily harm to an individual or makes physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with an individual.
